Baby Mason's 22 week sonogram

Do you know whose nose, lips and cheeks this looks like? Trinity's!!! Yesterday I had my last 2 week cervical check, and now that I am 22 weeks along it is official that I do not have an incompetent cervix! Hooray...no cerclage needed, and i can go to monthly checks, although I do have to go in weekly for my progesterone injection. :( They really hurt, but I can deal with pain. I have had my share this pregnancy with headaches, and kidney stones.

To my surprise while getting my sonogram the tech turned the sonogram over to 4D!! I was so excited! I have never had anything but a regular sonogram with my other kiddos, and although I was warned that at this early babies look like aliens, I was in love. I mean....not alien like at all. A little freaky, but still adorable! My Mason looks just perfect to me!!

My husband on the other hand had other thoughts. He said that Mason looked like Dobby from Harry Potter. Seriously? Dobby? I don't think so! Look how precious he is already saying his prayers!!

The sonogram tech said multiple times that she loved his heart!! She said the detail she could see was just amazing. That it was a text book heart and she could stare at it all day! I laughed at her because all I could see was the four chambers, but she could see so much more.

Anna accompanied me on this visit to the doctor, and she really enjoyed it. She was smiling the entire time. She thought it was so funny that when we started the sonogram, Mason had his legs and hands up over his head. She said he was already practicing gymnastics.

Can't decide

...whether to get Fox the Sox, or Hercule the Elephant for our baby BOY for Christmas.

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving it was just US. We were lazy, and stayed in our jammies all day.

Trin loves to help in the kitchen, and she helped prepare everything we ate. We shared at least 3 things we are thankful for around the table prior to eating.

One thankfulness from each of was:

Big Casey- a forgiving GOD
Little Casey- for Big Casey's job
Anna- for the Pilgrims, so we could have Thanksgiving
Trinity- for rabbits?
Me- for our carpooling family

Trin finished up by saying "Can we eat all dis good food now?"

We are THANKFUL, and BLESSED in many ways!

That night Trinity fell asleep reading her book before bed. She's never done that before and it was just sooo sweet. She must have been exhausted from our relaxing day. :)

Birthday Celebration

Trin's birthday started off at gymnastics. She is in LOVE with "gynastics"!!! She just recently started the 3, 4, and 5's class, and she is doing really well.

Yep, I do believe she's a natural. Well, at least I hope so. She really does love her "gynastics"!!

We just had a little celebration at home for her party. Nana came and in town, and brought lots of gifts. Her favorite being her new 4 wheeler, and her Jessie doll. The present theme seemed to be art supplies. She loves to paint, and mold with her play dough.

We had a wonderful day with our 3 year old, and she had a great birthday!

Leaf Press

The kids and I gathered leaves from the backyard last weekend and made leaf presses. The color of the leaves were just beautiful, and we wanted to enjoy them just a little bit longer.

Halloween...a little late

For months Trinity said that she wanted to be a cookie for Halloween. So, I made her a chocolate chip cookie costume, and she loved it so much she wanted me to make her most favorite doll Christian a costume too! I think my favorite part of the costume was her little cookie bows!

Anna, being the diva that she is chose to be a groovy hippie girl. She participated in the Girl Scouts trunk or treat, and it was a lot of fun. It's fun to see her interact with her class mates. She is such a socialite.

Next year I will for sure remember to have Neen use the restroom before we leave the house. She was a trooper and held it all the way home. :)

15 weeks

As of yesterday I am 15 weeks pregnant. I went to the specialist today, and they did a pretty thorough ultrasound. The doctor didn't want to give me a definite on the gender since it is still so early, but there was a guess. :) I'll wait until the 2nd for my next appointment to make sure the guess was right. I'll tell ya then.

Baby did weigh in at 4 ounces. I went to babycenter, and looked up the normal weight of baby at 15 weeks, and it said 2 1/2 ounces. Whoa! This is another big baby!!!

I did start feeling baby movement yesterday. Such a fun feeling, but it makes me a little sick to my stomach. I'm hoping the morning sickness (all day) will be fading soon. I have had a couple of great days recently. Trin informed us that if the baby is a boy he will be Sam, and if it is a girl it will be Sarah. I told her those would be really nice names when she has her own babies! :)

Here is a little peek of #4. Look at the crossed legs!!! So cute, and crazy at the same time!!! Both big and little Casey lay with there legs/feet in the same position. :)

Busy Week

We have a busy and exciting week ahead!!!

-Appt with perinatologist tomorrow. Casey will see #4 via ultrasound for the first time.
-Mom comes in town on Wednesday.
-Friday is Trinity's 3rd birthday, and mine and Casey's 14th wedding anniversary! WOW!!

*Trin's bday will consist of going to breakfast, gymnastics, Build-A-Bear (thanks for the groupon heads up Molly), pick the kids up from school, Anna's gymnastics, some kind of dinner, and cake and presents. :)

-Anniversary lunch on Sunday at The Melting Pot. Mmmmm.....my favorite!!! (super deal this week for being an email list member)

So...I need to clean house, order balloons, buy birthday gifts, make a cake, and enjoy these last few days of having a two year old. Time flies, but we're loving it!!

The other night a bad storm rolled through, and for about 2 min the lighting was beautiful. The sky was dark behind the house where the mountains are, and around front the sun was blazing! So it just made for a pretty picture or two. Love this Anna pose! I just told her not to look at the camera, and this is what she gave me! I think Casey's eyes are a little more sensitive to the sun, because his face is a little more scrunched up. :)

We're EXPECTING...

a new little baby in May!!! I am 12 weeks pregnant, and we couldn't be HAPPIER! This is truly a prayer come true, and we praise God for ALL his wonderful works! The kids are so excited, but Anna is ecstatic! It is ALL she talks about.

This is our latest sonogram of #4. I am so excited to see this little one. All of our kids have very small noses, and even smaller when they're babies. Look at this baby's nose. It looks normal size! I'm kind of hoping since all of our kiddos look alike that this one has a look all it's own.

At my appt yesterday the baby was bouncing around like he/she was on a bounce house! So fun to see! Big Casey thinks the baby's face in the sonogram picture looks like a boy. What do you think?

Almost 3!

When did my baby get so big? Why do they have to grow up so fast?

Yesterday we took our annual trip to McCall's Pumpkin Patch! This was big Casey's first year to go, and we had so much fun!

There were goats to pet and brush.

Casey and I watched from below. Can you believe how tall he is? Man, 6ft at 13...WOW!

There was a lot of running. So glad Trinity decided she would wear her rainboots. If not, she would have been barefoot. She still refuses to wear shoes.

Anna is an old pro at this slide, and it's one of her favorite things to do there.

After we had been there an hour or so, we were getting a little hungry and thirsty. Here comes Dad to the rescue! Pretty HOT if I do say so myself!

We Got Boo'd

Last night around 7:30 we heard the doorbell ring, and then a loud knock. I was a little nervous since I didn't know who it could be. Well, when we got to the door their was a bag full of surprises and goodies. Someone had Boo'd us, and made us newbies feel welcome in this wonderful neighborhood! So now it's our turn. We will be booing tonight!

My Neen

I'm not sure why, but I just love this picture. Maybe it's because it is so Neen right now. She is in LOVE with stuffed animals. Her favorites are puppies and turtles. Her hair is always scattered. She will not keep her ponytails or barretts in lately. She just wants her hair down, so she looks like a ragmuffin most of the time. She doesn't like shoes, but will wear these rain boots only outside, because the rocks and wood chips hurt her feet. She always has a funny look on her face. Sometimes it's intentional, and sometimes not. Here she is deep in thought, and I can just see the wheels turning. This girl is never still, and always has a plan. This is my Neen "today".
