It is finally WARM!!

Temperatures have been in the high 80's! Woo Hoo! The warmth of the sun has me thrilled. We have spent just about everyday playing outside or finding new parks for the kids to play.

Trin is saying HOT in this picture. She touched a bench and she thought it was too hot to sit on.

This park had a great jungle gym! Trin was little unhappy! She wasn't big enough to get to the top. No worries! She just went and did her own thing.

This looks safe huh?

This was not at a park or outside play, but I just love it.

Blurred on purpose. I love this grin. He is growing up so fast. It seems like just yesterday he was Trin's age wanting us to play twactors.

Got handstands?

Anna and her teacher. Wednesday was the last day in portables. The school is moving and will be at their new location on Wednesday.

Hummingbird Moth

A moth or a humming bird? We first saw these interesting creatures last August. We were walking and were amazed when we saw 5 of these creatures on one plant.

We saw this little guy last night in a weed on the lot next door. They are so fascinating! They fly just like a humming bird, and get nectar the same way a hummingbird does. Their wings even make a humming sound!

After searching online we came to the conclusion that this is actually a moth that mimicks a hummingbird. It is called a Hummingbird Moth. Don't tell the kids though. They are so excited to see hummingbirds this close up.

What a mess!

Today when Casey got home Anna walked into the living room with her hand cupped over her right ear. When Dad said "Hi Anna. How was your day?" She started bawling. I thought something was horribly wrong like Trini had pulled her earing and sliced her ear. No....she proclaims she was just chewing gum and it fell out of her mouth. Like most kids she tried to handle the problem on her own without coming to me first. If only she had come to me we would have been able to save so much more of her hair.


Can you see the damage she did on her own? The hair you see on the side of the gum is no longer attached to her head.

My peanut butter sticky hands were no match for this gum. Don't you just love that face? She looks like a totally different child.

Her poor head. You know she had to have been frantically tugging away to have pulled out that much hair. One side of her head is a little bit thinner now, but you really can't tell where all that hair came out. Let's hope when it grows back in it lays well.

Ok so this whole Easter post is mixed up and backwards, but I have a little one right now who is not cooperating so I will have to fix it tomorrow.

So I went back to see if I could change the post order and unless I delete all the post and start over it is a no go.

Also going back and looking things over I decided to delete a lot of pictures. There were too many logos on my families clothes, and since this blog is not private I don't want too much information out there. So yes, big and little Casey were in many of the pictures, but I decided it was best not to show them. I'll have to go back and find others to add.

So since this blog is all jumbled I'll let you know that our day started off at the Zoo, then we had our Easter egg hunt, and then we dyed Easter eggs. A fun filled day!

Anna also had a lot of fun! She wanted to dip the eggs in every color.

Bub had fun showing Trin how to do it! Everyone kept laughing at her for trying to eat the eggs, and trying to drink the dye (coke, coke, coke)

She wasn't sure what to do with them after she took them out of the dye. So....when all else fails. Eat it.

Easter Part 2

When Casey came home from work we had our Easter egg hunt! Trin was not too into it. She was mainly concerned with running around our cars. She did enjoy the candy that was in the eggs. Anna and Casey enjoyed themselves. They had never hunted for eggs in rocks before! The Easter bunny had to be very creative as to where he hid the eggs!

Trin did not want to carry her basket. She just wanted to put the eggs in the basket that was closest to her.

She was proud of herself when she did put an egg in a basket. She praised herself with clapping!

Anna was happy to get a money egg! I think she made out with $14.00. The Easter bunny is very generous these days!
