This past weekend Anna went to her first dance. It was a Father Daughter Dance for Brownies, and all the Girl Scouts from her school. She had so much fun dressing up, getting her nails painted, and putting on make up. She wanted to look beautiful for her Daddy.
They both said they had a blast. Anna said she laughed and laughed when Dad was shaking his booty to the Macarena and the Chicken Dance. She said the slow dances were really fun too, and that she would remember that night forever. She was full of smiles when she left the house, and had lots of giggles to go along with her smiles when she got home.
I was very proud to call them both mine that night! They look wonderful!!
Right before they left the house Casey surprised Anna with a corsage. She was so happy, and turned a little red. It caught her off guard, but you could tell she was on cloud 9.
The two came home with this photo from the dance. I just love it! They both look so happy, and I know they will both cherish that night forever.
