Life in Albuquerque My first blog!

Ok! I promised many friends and family members that once we moved and got settled in to Albuquerque that I would start this blog! Here goes. We moved here 96 days ago, and are somewhat getting used to things. Things are very different. One nice thing here is that we went all summer and never saw 100 degrees. Our summer highs were in the low 90's and in the 60's at night. Now that it is turning Fall the highs are in the upper 70's and lows in the 50's. The rainbows we have witnessed here are completely breathtaking. It is amazing how great God's beauty is here! The purple sunsets over the mountains are the best!

We have found a great church, and love the pastor! The kids are having a blast in their classes, and yes Trin goes to the nursery. Most of you probably can't believe that, but I do let go of her for that long. I have also joined a MOPS group that meets every other week and Trin goes to her class during that time as well. I have met a lot of nice ladies and really enjoy my time with them!

Casey is enjoying his job, and I am very proud of him. He does a wonderful job at work, and comes home and does an equally great job! I did cook for a solid week, and althought the food was good it seems Casey just enjoys cooking and asked for that responsibility back. My response was sure! You don't have to tell me twice!! It seems the same thing goes with vacuuming! Who would've thunk it? My favorite time is seeing him with the kids at bed time! Prayers and kisses! Priceless!

The kids have started school. Casey is excelling in the Christian Academy he attends. He is on the golf team, and scored a 55 on a 9 hole at his last tournament. We are very proud of him. He seems to really be enjoying himself, and thanks us every day for letting him attend that school.

Anna is reading like a pro. Her favorite thing to do is write in her journal. I love reading her stories and all her thoughts she puts down on paper. She goes to jazz class on Wednesdays. Anna is so independent, courageous, and of course cute! There are so many times during the day that she reminds me of my sister Amanda, not only in looks, but in her actions! Maybe one day you'll have one just like her Amanda! LOL! She attended her first slumber party last Friday, and boy was that a hit! Clowns, pedicures, and manicures Oh My!

Trinity is growing so fast. She will be a year old in two months. The year has flown by. It feels like she was never a baby. She has been cruisin on the furniture since she was 8 months old. Just tonight she started standing up by herself in the middle of the floor. It brings tears to my eyes! It is bitter sweet. I love that she is learning, and becoming such a big girl, but I'm also sad that my last baby is growing up. She will be running before we know it .She now has 3 teeth. She cut her top tooth today.

My mom came to visit a couple of weeks ago! We had so much fun! We didn't really have to do a whole lot, just be together. She did help me get my house looking like a home, and convinced me it was ok to put one or two nail holes in the wall. She had some really good ideas, and I smile each time I walk into a different room. The kids also loved her being here. She suprised them with her visit. Lil Casey couldn't stop smiling at the airport, and Anna's heart skipped a beat when she saw her. It was so nice for them to show off their new house and have Nana be a part of it. They also loved Nana's food! Little Casey's favorite is her southern fried potatoes, and he couldn't get enough of them. While my mom was here we also realized that Trin has outgrown her soy and dairy allergy! Praise God!!! I can eat again!!! I love my mom and can't wait to see her again! Hurry Up Thanksgiving!

Life here is growing on us, but boy we sure miss family friends and Texas!!
