I can't believe it has already been a year since you two said "I do"! That day was a beautiful day, and one that I will never forget. Many memories were made for all of us! It seems like the preparations the day before flew by. I wish I could go back and have another moment to cherish my favorite memories from those two days.
-eating at Dakota's. Andrew's mom, sister, aunt, and cousin did such a beautiful job with the bridal luncheon. It was so relaxed and special. I LOVED my crabcake sandwich! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I remember looking across the table at you, and being so proud and happy and excited for you and your future.
-getting our nails done. Loved the "prom" picture. It was cute watching Anna, and Maggie, and Kate experience their first french mani and pedi. The little girls had so much fun together.
Rehersal dinner, you looked beautiful, and so happy walking around and talking with family members on both sides. I loved the slide show, and all the memories it brought back. My food was delish, and I remember Taylor playing music with his water glass.
-the early part of your wedding day is a little blurred to me. I remember being nervous about the toast I was giving at the reception, and a little nervous about how the day would go. Getting all the kids ready and getting them where they needed to go at the right time.
-getting ready with the bridal party. Eating those yummy chicken tenders, and watching Heather style your long gorgeous blonde hair in those beautiful curls.
-Watching the moment you and mom shared together as she gave you your card, and seeing the love, and excitement, and nervousness shared by the both of you.
-driving to Old City Park to help you and Anna get dressed. Remember, you didn't want to go upstairs where the photographer insisted you get ready because of the lighting! You were so scared you would fall down those steep stairs! You didn't and the pictures turned out gorgeous!
-sharing the "plump and stump" LOL! (lip gloss)
-having so much fun taking pictures together-weeds and all! Lots of laughs in those 30 min. I wish the photographer would have taken a photo of just the two of us though. :(
- watching Anna walk down the aisle with tears in my eyes! I know the "real" day for her to walk down the aisle will come much sooner than I'd like. She looked beautiful though!
-that perfect moment when Taylor straightend the train on your dress, and you made your way up the walk. You looked gorgeous! You were glowing! Once again tears in my eyes! I am so proud of who you are, and all of your accomplishments! I could not have hand picked a better sister. I am so glad God picked you for me. Thank you for being you, and loving me the way you do! I love you!
-when Cheryl's microphone didn't work, and only those standing closest to you heard your vows.
-glad I didn't get snake bitten in the pictures after the ceremony.
-the reception, it was wonderful! I made it through the toast, with only a few tears.
-the dancing...oh the dancing. I realized my little boy could dance.....even with 20 year olds. I think I might be in trouble! He was a little too comfortable putting on the moves!
- when I fell on the dance floor. Please remind me of this if I ever start dancing the hoe down again. Ok?
-Trin falling asleep, and passing her around from person to person. Everyone loved holding her, even asleep.
-going back to the hotel where you came by to say goodnight, and take a picture with Trin. She had been asleep most of the night and wasn't in many pictures.
-driving home the next day on Mother's Day, and replaying all the weekends wonderful events in my head over again.
I hope you and Andrew have a wonderful anniversary, but then how could you not being in Hawaii for the second time in a year? You are a lucky girl! I am so happy for you and can't wait to see what your future holds! "Here's to many more years of a wonderful marriage."

The perfect day!

Thank you so much for this. It is so nice to stop and remember so many of the moments that happened in those two days. People always say that your wedding day goes by too fast, but I never realized how fast they meant. Those two days flew by and I would love to go back and do it all again.
I cannot thank you enough for all you did helping me prepare the year leading up to the wedding, all of the phone calls where I was frustrated... stressed... excited, addressing the invitations, all of the trips to Dallas, and mostly just for being there for me. Thank you for these memories, thank you for this trip down memory lane, and thank you for everything.
I love you thither!
