Red River

We took a mini trip to Red River, NM during the kids Spring Break! We met Amanda and Andrew there and stayed a couple of days. This is a yearly trip for Amanda and Andrew. They go with a church group and stay for a week. It was a nice 3 hour drive for us, and the most snow I have ever seen!

Don't you love Neen's expression in the photo? It is sooo her!

We saw deer in front of a house as soon as we drove in.

I can't believe Casey is almost 13. He is becoming quite mature, and is now much taller than I am. About another 3-4 inches and he will be as tall as Casey. There are members of the family that are 6'7". Little Casey will be this tall for SURE! It's hard to believe he was only 4lbs when he was born.

Amanda and Andrew chillin in the snow.

Anna, just being Anna in this picture and the next!

Have I mentioned she likes to do kartwheels?

Anna and I love this hat! She wore it shopping one evening. My friend Lindsey made it. She has an etsy shop, and makes a lot of super cool things! Check out her hats
http://www.etsy.com/shop/ReapWhatYouSew you might even see a picture of Neen! :)

Anna being a dare devil as always!

Don't you just want to squeeze her?

Didn't taste as good as the peach snow cones we LOVE!

Have you ever seen snow/ice this big?

You know.....this child dances to her own tune.

She loved the snow, and I love this smile!

Enjoy these videos of us sledding. :)

She is going SOOO fast in this video, and she had an absolute blast!!!!

Anna thought her little "spin" was pretty cool!

This hill was way too steep! Did you see Neen and I fly off the sled at the end?

We had so much fun, and can't wait to go back again next year! Maybe next year we can ski :) ! How does that sound Amanda?

I am so glad that you guys came and joined us. We had so much fun! And I am glad you came this year when there was more snow that I have ever seen! That one hill was so fast... I don't know what we were thinking. I love all of these pics. Skiing...hmmm...I don't know about that.
