Advent Day 4...

Open and read a new Christmas book.

The kids opened a new Christmas book today.  We all put our foot out, and did "superman, superman" to decide who got to read it.  Anna won this year, but we will alternate each year.  I wrote the year, and who read the book inside the cover.  One day when the kids have a family of their own, I will let them take the book they read for Advent and share it with their children.

The kids enjoyed this book, and thought it was pretty cool that their was a recipe for Christmas cookies at the back of the book.

It snowed again last night.  The girls begged me to let them play outside today.  I let them stay out long enough to build a snowman, since they are still getting over being sick.

Just a cute picture of these two.  She really is such a big help to me.  She insists on getting him up from his naps, she plays with him, changes diapers, fixes bottles, feeds him.  Just about anything I need help with. I'm lucky to have her.

Tonight after I put Mason to bed, I walked out to find Neen sick again.  She claims that her stomach, tongue, and throat hurt.  She's running a fever of 102.  Looks like we might of picked up Strep throat when we were at the hospital Thursday. At least...that's my guess. ;(

Sure wish this girl would feel better soon! It breaks my heart!

Off to ponder what Advent day 5 will be. :) goodnight!

What a great tradition to start and for the kids to be able to carry on. I am really hoping that all the kids get over the sickness soon.
