Day 6 was supposed to be decorate the tree. It didn't happen. When we picked Bub up from school, I could tell something was wrong. He had a migraine, and looked and felt horrible. Big Casey has a history of migraines. He says that fluorescent lights trigger them. Bub's pediatrician said that migraines tend to be hereditary, so be on the look out when Casey reaches the age that big Casey started getting them. Well...we're here the same age, the same trigger, with the addition of the sun. Boo! So, it looks like we need to take a trip to the doctor to see how to best manage them.
Instead of decorating the tree, we decided to do a quick art project, since it had already been a long day, with a sick crying baby. :(
No decorations, but the tree is up. :) Mason really could of cared less, but he posed nicely for the picture.
The girls needed a picture with Mason too. You can't see him, but Bub is on the couch hidden under a blanket. The boy can't get enough of us. He didn't want to go to his room to rest. I think he was afraid he might miss something.
I had to take one of him by himself in front of the tree. Does his face look skinnier? This was day 3 of pedialyte. :(
Our little art project. We traced hands and feet, and made reindeer! This project normally works best with painted handprints and footprints, but this is all the energy I had.
We have been praying and talking about the birth of Jesus during these Advent days. It's really helping us focus on what's important while doing fun things as a family!
